Founded in 1987 by Bill Pitts, Veg UK was built on a simple idea — to provide high-quality fresh produce through strong, honest relationships with growers.

Starting from humble beginnings, Bill worked closely with local farmers, creating a trusted network that allowed Veg UK to supply fresh produce reliably and at a fair price. That same approach remains at the heart of the business today.

Over the years, our grower network has expanded across the UK and Europe, enabling us to offer consistent, year-round availability to our customers. Many of the relationships built in the early days are still going strong — a testament to the trust and loyalty that define how we work.

In 2018, Bill retired and passed the business on to his son, Julian. Continuing the values and philosophy established from day one, Julian has led Veg UK forward with a close-knit team and a shared commitment to quality, service, and reliability.

Today, we proudly work with growers and customers across the UK and Europe. By maintaining strong partnerships and staying true to our roots, we continue to grow together.
